yay! chinese prelim is over. dumb tricia. she wasted her time looking at --- till she did not complete the paper. she even said that she did want to do the paper but --- gave her motivation to at least write something down. gosh.
geography lessons are so standard. it's just like a routine. notes, notes, workbook then video. today's video, we watched the documentary "afterlife". it was gross. they showed dead bodies. the customs in that country is that a person is considered sick until a funeral is held. they keep the corpse at home till they raised enough money for the funeral. some kept the bodies for years and one kept the body for 38 years. can u imagine that? the stench and everything. they sacrifice buffalos during the funeral. the blood on the ground will produce a stench and to them, it's an aroma which increases their appetitite for what they are doing. it's really sick. ok, i know it's their custom. maybe it's just that it's not common here in singapore.
in hongkong, they just buy some paper made furnitures, cars and houses for the dead. it's quite common here in singapore. the video even mentioned that hongkong is not a cheap place to die. haha. but it's true. the preparation and stuff and cost up to US$3000-5000.
just yesterday, mr lee showed us how backwash works. he splashed a bucket of water at the door and wetted zainul's table. haha. later, he dropped the pail and some water came splashing onto his face and shirt. i just so enjoy geography lesson.
