HAPPY BIRTHDAY SINGAPORE! =)

Went to Chong Qing Hotpot with E yesterday. Was fabulous!

This is their famous ma la soup and boiled chicken broth. It still looks good to me.

My number 1 favourite dish! Sliced beef. I ate more than 10 plates of it. When i asked the waitress for 3 more, she was like "you sure enough? It's going to be the last order already. I give you 1 more?" HAHAHA. She's nice. There was once I just asked for more beef and she gave me 6 plates at a go.

My number 2 favourite dish. These are really fresh prawns. Unlike those at Seoul Garden. All frozen up and artificially sweet.

My number 3 favourie dish. Fish paste! You're supposed to cook it by pouring hot soup over it. I sure had a hard time trying to keep its shape and getting it into the soup.

Went to watch Money Not Enough after the Hotpot buffet. I don't understand why it is rated only 1 and a half star. The show's funny and quite touching. The old lady died in the end. She sacrificed a lot for her family, even till her death. It really shows how Singaporeans are treating their elderly. I mean, the minorities. And she really look like my grandmother who has just passed away. There's the resemblance.

Anyway, my other grandmother's house has been repainted. From the colourful lego like building to this greyish classy feel. I like it this way. =)

I should have climbed the timber stilts with my cousins when it was still there. It was so much fun. Now I have to wait for a few more years before the house is repainted. =(

Gossip isn't scandal and it's not merely malicious. It's chatter about the human race by lovers of the same.
