Went to Chu Siang Tong Temple's annual dinner. It's their 50th anniversary this year, so it's sort of a larger scale event. I'm especially proud of my Grandpa (I always do). He sees the minister to the stage and so on. He seems like a big shot! Hahaha.
The singers were quite good. I recognised some of the old songs. I fell in love with the one and only English song sung. The chorus's so catchy! "My heart goes Sha-la-la-la-la; Sha-la-la in the morning."
I'm envious of my Grandpa. He's enjoying his retired life with his friends. Playing mahjong frequently, visiting the temple now and then, bringing Grandma to the hair salon weekly. It seems like he's busier, as compared to the days when he worked, since he's usually not at home. I'm going to spend my retired life in a farawar island, in a house with a nice beach just beside it. =)
It sucks getting blamed for your younger siblings' mistakes.
