I've been busy!

Followed my dad to his work site, since I've got nothing to do.

I was supposed to help prepare for the prayers, but I ended up stayed in the office doing nothing.

Just look at the computer. The place was seriously dirty. Sand collects in the office too. And whenever those big trailers drove past, the whole office will shake.

I'm not going to work in such an environment. Not my type of job.

Then we went to the work site at Tampines. Yeah, the place was dirty still but this time, I didn't enter the office. I stood there like some rich man's kid, caring about my shoes, my hair etc. Hahaha.

I was kind of fascinated by how those machines work.

It's amazing, the scoop thing acts like a hand. It scoops up sand, unload them into the truck, and can even do that pressing action to compress the sand together. Then more loading and pressing.
That green flab closes automatically! I've always thought that it has to be closed manually. And it will be flung open if there was a strong wind.

I want to be in there! At least once. It's amazing how 2 joysticks can control that one vehicle.

Turn it 180degrees around, scoop whatever's on the ground, turn back 360degrees, lift up the scoop, dump the sand into the truck etc etc.

After everything, we went to the main office.

Had buffet, then played black jack. I helped my uncle play and woah, I won so much! Luck was on my side, I've never once lost money to the banker. (:

It's always like that. If I'm playing, I'll lose everything. If I'm helping someone else play, I win all the time. This sucks.

Just as expected, I lost. Because I was helping myself play. ):


31st Jan ; Sat

It's the morning of the flea market.

Woke up super early to set up the booth. Got the flyers ready, hung up the clothes and sat under the hot sun till late afternoon.

It's not easy doing business. That's what I realised.
You have to know what sort of customers you'll get, what are their preferences etc. Sometimes, it just depend on your luck.

And Viwawa-ed all night with Mich. I should start sleeping early. Have to readjust my body clock for next week.
Work's going to be tiring.

I need some rest!
