28 March

Window shopping can be fun at times, especially when it's with the right person.
Someone with the same interest, someone you can talk to, or someone who can give you opinions when you need it.

Went to Suntec with my dearest Dums.
We were given a paper bag with voucher for beauty product by a promoter at the MRT exit.

She told us there would be free gifts for us at the atrium.
And since we didn't have anywhere in mind to go, we went to take a look.
We made it our Aunty Day.

Usually, I would just give all these promotions a pass.
But since it's Aunty Day, I went to collect my free gift.

This was what we got.
A bottle of Nature's Farm green tea and a PYNA-C moisturizer.Italic
It's embarrassing, really.
I know it's not something to be ashamed of, but this is so not me.

Lunch-ed at my favouritest favourite Souperlicious!
This time, all the soups are NOT sold out, and I got to drink my Broccoli soup.
Super delicious!

HSBC was having a promotion beside Souperlicious.
Anyone with a receipt from any outlet at Suntec is entitled to a free spin.
It's still Aunty Day...
So we participated in it, and got a free frisbee!
It's thrilling, doing things you don't usually do.
Sometimes, you'll just surprise yourself.

Then shopped at Carrefour for titbits.
All these working and not spending is making me spend more. And me, being happy, isn't helping much.
I just took the titbits I want off the shelf.
That's not me either.

Then, the best thing happened!
We found this on one of the shelves.

Sophie Kinsella's Remember me? !
I was sooooo excited.
It's the book I've been trying to find in the library for months.

As we are good souls (: , even though it's Aunty Day, we contemplated whether to take it or not.
Being a reader myself, I won't feel good if I lose a book by my favourite author.
Plus, it's not right to take things that do not belong to you.
In the end, we still took it.

Our reasons were:
If we don't take it, someone else will.
We have no way to return this book to its owner.

I know it's not right.
As I'm typing this, the guilt in me is rising.
But, I've taken it already.
So I'll still read it anyway.

And, and, I saw a pair of sandals I like at Charles & Keith!
Still not bought it though.
It's kind of expensive and I'm not that an impulse shopper when it comes to shoe, unless it's really really cheap.
Just like those shoes I got from HK.
But this sandals's really nice.
Simple and not too complicated. And it's comfy too!
Maybe I should go back next week and get them.
It's not like I see shoes that I like all the time.

29 March

I'm really spending more, now that I'm working.
I'm spending alot on food, and a portion on relaxation.

Went for foot reflexology with Dums today.
It's his 1st time (:

Dums: Will it hurt?

Me: Nah, it's nice. But if you find it painful, just ask the guy to use less strength.

Dums: What a waste of money! I'll ask him to use all his strength. I've got super high pain tolerance ok.

Bragging.
You should have seen his expression when his feet was being massaged.
Whenever he felt pain, his eyes will get so wide and his head will jerk up so suddenly,
it's really funny.

Confessions of a Shopaholic tomorrow!
(: (: (:
It's a story written by Sophie Kinsella.
