I love hearing my grandmother's stories.
I'm not saying old grandmother stories. I really mean MY grandmother's stories.
Whenever it's just the two of us, she'll talk about her past.

She's her mother's only daughter (Her dad had one or two wives, I can't remember the details), cos her mum passed away. She was really pregnant when she died. My grandma just lost her twin siblings.
And when she was admitted to hospital, nobody visited her, except her father.
She kind of led a miserable life, until she met my grandfather!

It's not love at first sight. There was no love involved.
My great-grandfather actually chose my grandpa as his son-in-law.
He wanted someone reliable to take care of my grandmother. Well, he really picked the right person. My grandpa's a really nice guy!
Actually, I probed for this bit of the story, cos I was really curious how they got together.
But really, I want a husband like my grandpa.

He's becoming really cheeky these days, cracking all the lame jokes.

Me: Ah Kong, I feel like getting a guinea pig. Do you think your friend can let me buy one at a really discounted rate?
Him: You get pets for what? You so lazy.
Me: I will take care of it la. Guinea pigs are soooo cute!
Him: Just go to the market, put a mouse cage there, and you'll get a free pet.

Me: Eh, you won $2 from the mahjong session last night right? Treat me to McFlurry! It's $2.
Him: You never earn from tuitioning ar.
Me: Aiya, that's for buying things.
Him: I chaffeur you everywhere, you never pay me. Still want me to treat you.

HAHAHA.
He's becoming a small kid.
