I've never had what my sis has now, all the tuitionings and helps for school.
My parents used to guide me through primary school, coaching me in my subjects. My mum helps me with MT and HMT, my dad just handles the rest.
I was on my own from secondary school onwards.

In secondary school, the closest I got to receive help from a relative was when my 12 years older uncle offered to help me with science.
I was revising in my aunt's room. He came in, looked at me and headed for the bed.
I still remember him telling me I take a nap ok? Anything just wake me up.
I should have known. He's the lazy kind.

But I do have tuitions.
Kumon, cos I saw my sister's worksheets and thought it was fun. Got my parents to enrol me in, and quit when it got tough. I kind of feel guilty now, cos I'm spending my parents' hard earned money just to make myself feel good. The worksheets were easy.
Chinese tuition in sec 3 and 4, cos the teacher seems nice. Well, she coaches my sis and I felt that she was good. And since MT to HMT was quite a big step, at least to me, I might as well receive some help.

Now, my sis has all the help that she needs. In fact, more than what she needs.
She has so many tuitions I don't even know when she goes for them, and which subjects they are for. She receives help from me and she borrows Guan for the whole afternoon sometimes. Even Keong's giving her free tuition on Sundays.
She's a lucky girl.

I don't know what's wrong with my dad today. He've been coming into my room, telling me jokes (only he thinks it's funny), then walk out chuckling to himself.
Just 15mins ago, he came in to check on me and saw me reading blogs.
Him: You call this studying?!
Me: I'm taking a break la. Don't irritate me.
Him: Break? EAT KIT KAT LA!

I should ban him from watching TV. This isn't the first time he's quoting from those advertisements.
