I was trying to do up my Geog project, but decided to do it tomorrow.
I'm clueless about the map. I can't locate that button to draw out the route, much less to mark it in red and measure and what not.
I've googled about major in Geog and the list of jobs looks promising.
1. Urban Planner/ Community Development
2. Cartographer
3. GIS Specialist
4. Climatologist
5. Transportation Management
6. Environmental Management
7. Writer/ Researcher
8. Teaching
9. Emergency Management
10. Demographer
11. Marketing
12. Librarian/ Information Scientist
13. National Park Service Ranger
14. Real Estate Appraisal
Some of which looks really interesting. And I feel better about majoring in Geog after reading this:
Employers value the wide-ranging computer, research, and analytical skills that geography students bring to the market. When job-hunting, it's important to stress these skills you've gained during college.
While there aren't many job titles that are "geographer", there are many types of positions that fit well with a degree in geography. Think about some of the options below as you begin your job search.
