I'm not the kind who will write new year resolutions and stuff but I have to list down a number of things I've promised myself to do over the years. Things that I didn't fulfil. ):
Well, I'd like to remind myself of all these promises.
1. TO STOP PROCRASTINATING. Especially when it comes to studying, practising the piano and keeping the house clean.
2. When school term starts, be hardworking. Do my readings! I should be realistic. I aim to read at least half of them. REMINDER: No procrastinating.
3. Practise piano, do theory. Not on the day of my piano lesson if I want to take my exam next year. Again, no procrastination.
4. Put all things back when not in used so that they won't clutter up on my table. I hate packing, and this gives me point no. 5.
5. Pack my area (tables, cupboard, bed) neat at all times. So neat that my house is ready for guests at any point of time. And so that I won't lose my stuff all the time.
6. DRINK MORE WATER. Unsweetened ones.
7. Be kinder to my parents. I want to change their opinion about staying overs and going for holidays with friends.
8. SAVE UP. I want to get my guinea pig and I want to go for the Thailand trip with my Mauritius people at the end of the year.
9. Control what I put into my mouth! Especially after dinner. Limit the number of buffets I go for. Make it maximum once a month. Better still, once every two months. AND LOSE ALL THE WEIGHT I GAINED DURING THE SEMESTER.
10. PAY ATTENTION DURING CLASS. Stop dozing off during lessons, especially lectures.
11. Sleep early when school term starts. No later than 1pm, even if people are talking to me on msn or skype, no matter how interesting the conversations get.
12. BE MORE CONFIDENT AND INDEPENDENT.
13. Get over the myth that creatures lurk in the dark.
That's all I can think of now. If I can fulfil half of them, I'll be glad.
