I guess this applies to both family and friends.
There should always be trust, mutual understand, and RESPECT.

I personally hate it when people

1. Touch my arms or thighs.
You may be playing around, trying to show how fat I am. But I absolutely hate it. I always feel violated when people do that, be it guy or girl. And I don't think I fall into the category of "fat" even though I tend towards the plump side.

2. Tease me about being fat ALL THE TIME.
Like I've said, I don't think I'm fat. I'm just meat-ier than the average girls. But then again, healthy weight and acceptable weight never does coincide, does it? People just want to look like they have an acceptable weight, but I'm fine with having a healthy weight. I prefer it this way so why should you care?

3. Give sarcastic comments about my facial features.
Where's the respect? I'm born with it and have to live with it. Commenting on my features doesn't change anything.

4. Give unwanted comments about my height.
Call me short, laugh it off, yeah I'm fine. But if you ever go "Oh my gosh oh my gosh.. You're ONLY ---?!", you're unfit to be my friend. Don't give me that I-can't-believe-you-are-only-this-tall-I'm-way-taller-than-you-look.

5. Tease about moles/freckles/pimples/scars.
You have perfect skin condition, haven't you?

6. Hurl vulgarities at me.
No respect at all! You may use it in your daily speeches but DO NOT direct it at me.

7. Take food off my plate saying "Oh I'm just helping you finish. I don't think you can ever finish that amount of food."
DO NOT assume. If you want the food, just take it. Don't give excuses. It makes you look greedy.

8. Ignore me.
Give me your attention when I'm talking to you. If you want to pretend to listen, don't give me unrelated answers. It makes me feel like an idiot.

Basically, don't over-tease any of the fact that I can't change. There's nothing I can do about it so why make me feel bad about myself. You're a friend/family so you should be sensitive about my feelings.

Just like how a middle age person can't help being old. By calling them old man or old woman doesn't make them any younger. It makes them feel insecure about their own age. And teasing an obese person doesn't help him/her lose weight. It may be their fault for not watching their weight when they eat, but genes do play a part in their size.

It's not a crime to be old/fat/ugly, but people should really dress appropriately to avoid unnecessary comments.

Leggings may be comfortable but bright pink?! It looks like his diving suit!

Yes I've said that people can't help being fat. But why dress like this and brighten up the faces of many? I've heard of muffin top. But this?

Another one! Why can't they just cover it up?

They really should shop for clothes of their size.

Hahahaha. I can pretty much guess why he's overweight. Too much time spent on gaming.

Outlandish!

Well, this guy really NEEDS to shop for clothes. He looks like he just came out of a mental hospital.
