Gosh, I've been so busy I haven't had time to stay at home ever since holidays started. I'm out the entire day and only home for dinner at night. But at least I don't feel the stress like I do during school term. No projects to rush out, no assignments due.
Finally tried the XLB buffet with Akachu last Friday.
Like what Chow pop said, it's not that fantastic. Before the buffet, I was like woah, free flow XLB. How great can that be. And when you're there, the only thing you'll be eating is XLB because the other stuff are way too boring. 2 hours of XLB that takes forever to come. How great can it be? I don't think I'll be going for it any time soon.
Night cycling for the 2nd time on Saturday with Guan's secondary school mates.
As compared to night cycling with the Mauritius people, our route was much shorter and we cycled for a shorter time. But it was far more tiring! Maybe because the route we took was less interesting. All we did was cycle from ECP, pass Changi Airport, to Changi Village for a meal and back to ECP. And it was non-stop cycling!
With the Mauritius people, we planned our route before our night cycling trip.
We started off from Downtown East to some prata shop, then to Bedok for their famous minced meat noodle, and to Geylang for beancurd, and to ECP then back to Downtown East. By the time we were cycling back, everyone else were waiting for bus to go to school or work.
I really miss this group. Our Bangkok trip wasn't successful and I haven't seen them for the entire semester!
And it's my grandparents' 50th anniversary this coming Saturday.
Grandpa has been reminding everyone about it, and it isn't really something he would do. Guess he really wants the whole family to dine together. So yeah, we've been planning activities for the day without him knowing.
Now I know how tedious these plannings can get. We had to visit all the restaurants, look at the menus, prepare gifts etc. Speaking of which, we haven't even started on the gift. Ack!
This isn't really related to why I'm so busy, but I've finally gotten down to registering for driving lessons! I'm starting lesson this Friday. (:
And I can't wait!
