I've been in a cold war with my sis for months because of a fight, and I wasn't supposed to be involved anyway.

Ever since she had her mid-year examination, she'd been feeling lethargic.
She comes home for a short nap, and asked to be woken up an hour later. My mum would have problem waking her up because that lazy bum just refuses to budge from her sleep. And the peacefulness in the house would be disrupted.

One day, it all happened again, except that my sis decided to take it out on me.
I came out from my bath, only to see that pig lying on my bed. And I was desperate to get her off because I had to wake up at 5.30am for school the very next day. I sat at the foot of the bed and waited for her to get back to her own bed. Apparently, she was waiting for me to do something so that she can vent her anger at me. Yes, I fell for it. I tried to pull her off my bed, only to get into a fight.

So we haven't been talking.
I refuse to take the initiative. Don't judge me. That's just because I wasn't at fault.
Anyway, she started talking to me today, for don't know what reason. And she was asking what the game my dad was playing on my iPod Touch on Saturday. MY DAD WAS ASKING for the game to be downloaded into her iPhone so that he could play.

It was the most brainless game ever.

Video slot.

He was addicted to this the entire time we were at the airport. He started off with $500 and by the end on the session, he had $2000+. I can't tell you how excited he was. He said he played this so that he'll know how jackpot machines work in casinos. Excuses. I can tell he just enjoys the game.

Back in Mauritius, I had the urge to visit the casino every night to get back to my slot machines. Except that the rules were much easier.

This was the one I was addicted to. Instead of 5 columns, we have 3 columns. And I can win 20cents for every cherry shown on the screen. That's how easy it was.

But I don't get why my dad is addicted to the video slot on the iPod Touch. It's virtual and plain mindless tapping of the screen. For the REAL slot machines, you feel the excitement because it drops money out quite frequently. You get to choose to keep your wins as credits or for the machine to drop your wins out. Obviously I chose the latter. I love the sound of the coins dropping out of the machine, even if it's just 20cents.

Now I know why I was addicted to it.
Interest is hereditary.
