Wah I had a really really bad day today, because I started my day with a bad bad bad night.
I know I don't make sense right now, but that's just because I'm really tired.
I didn't sleep at all last night because I was too stressed over my presentation today. Never in my life have I not slept the entire night before a school day.
So I started my day with no sleep at all, went down to school early in the morning for my 8am tutorial. 7.55am and there's still no one in class. I know there IS tutorial today because my friend smsed me that she would be late. I checked my timetable, correct tutorial room. SO I DIDN'T FORGET ANYTHING THIS TIME. Called/smsed my friend but no reply. So I sat in the tutorial classroom alone, like an idiot. Then, 6mins past 8am, she called and say tutorial's at the Geog lab above. !!!!! I walked out of the class, only to see "GE2229 students, please proceed to Geo Lab for tutorial". PTTF. I blame it on the lack of sleep.
For tutorial today, we had to dig up soil specimens to test for the moisture content.
Saw the most number of earthworms in an hour in my life, used a spade to dig up the core that contains the soil, killed a few grasses in the process and harmed a few tree roots. Other than that, it was fun! I can't wait for the field studies in Thailand. (: (:
We need to return the geog lab tomorrow to bake the soil specimens we took to remove the moisture from them. And leave it to cool for about 4 hours before we can take down the readings. And while discussing who to do it, I happily offered that I can do it because I've got lecture from 12-2 tomorrow. One girl replied Isn't that the lecture all of us are taking? It's this module what. OMG I was so embarrassed I looked down. Some laughed at me, some patted my shoulders and said It's okay, we understand. ):
This was worse than walking into the wrong classroom. I could feel my face heating up after that. Sheesh.
BUT WHATEVER IT IS, I'M HAPPY NOW BECAUSE PRESENTATION ISH OVER! I CAN'T CONTAIN MY EXCITEMENT ANYMORE. HAHAHAHA.
It feels like the term has ended because it's such a huge relief! I was perspiring throughout the whole presentation and my face was burning like mad. And I'm sooooo glad it's over. OVER AND DONE WITH.
Imma going to change, wash my face, slap on some facial mask and take my afternoon nap.
