Woke up early in the morning again for Thai lessons. This time I didn't learn much, because I'm still trying to remember the stuff I learnt from yesterday. The vocab today wasn't really practical for now and we can always use hand signals to express ourselves.

We had a quick lunch at the mall nearby before heading back for lessons with Prof Tracy Skelton. We had to do readings in Chiang Mai. ): Our quick lunch always take about an hour or so, because we'll always have a snack, a meal and dessert.

Auntie Anne's here is really cheap! We'll always buy something from Auntie Anne's whenever we visit the mall.

After lunch, the rest split up to get whatever they wanted. Some went to Diary Queen's, some went back to Auntie Anne's, so Wenying and I went to look around. And we found this little ice cream shop in a corner of the mall's basement.

Notice the instructions
It's pretty expensive for an ice cream in Chiang Mai, especially such a small one. But we bought one each to try.

It was just a pretty little thing. Wasn't that fantastic. It tastes a little like the potongs we have back in Singapore. But it was hilarious how everyone asked if we're eating eggs or sweet potatoes. No one believed it was an ice cream, until we licked it.

Lunch was the only time I left the guesthouse. After the session with Prof, we went back to our room to complete our assignment and prepare for our presentation. We were so lazy to leave the guesthouse, so we ordered Macs and paid the hotel to print our essay for us.

Today isn't as eventful as the past few days but I prefer it this way. At least we're kept busy with our assignment, not just wandering about the streets aimlessly.

Presentation tomorrow! In front of about 50 people. ): I want it done and over with.
