it's the amazing race at youth park today. i went there for duty, together with mich. it's was great! we watch people register, wait anxiously for the event to start and check out their goodie bags. once the horn went off, everyone started crowding around the stage, trying to get a glimpse of the 1st clue before dashing off. they were so impatient. they did not even bother to ask which route they are supposed to take.

after everyone had gone off, we realised that there was miscommunication. in the end, thw whole group of us have to start calling every single team to inform them of their route and the clue. minority refused to change the route as they are already half way through the race. while the others are competing, the RHYAs spent out afternoon in the national youth council office, reading books, playing cards and SLEEPING. it's so much fun being the organiser.

for lunch, we had catered pasta. the food had a sour smell but mich said it was the olive oil smell so most of us ate it, except those who went to cineleisure for lunch. it was only towards the end of the event, then we found out that the pasta at one of the check-points had gons bad and gave off a bad smell. the pasta that we had earlier on had turned bad!!! eewww. hope no one gets food poisoning.
