11 Dec

Went to Science Centre with the clique (Lixiang, Jingyi, Keong, Jiehuang, Guanli) on Thursday. We paid only $7 for all the exhibition PLUS the magic exhibition. Just $1 more for the magic exhibition and a magic show. Quite worth it! But because we went in at 3pm, we didn't get to look at all the exhibitions.

This fascinated me. The picture of this boat caught in a storm actually shows a man in the mirror! Amazing, ain't it?

I present to you Mr Guanli on a platter!

And a floating Mr Guanli! I told you, I've got magic power. (:

I found the decapitated victims of World War III and saved them.

And so, we went to the mini study corner in Science Centre

as one big family!

Now, I'll introduce to you our muscle men!

Contestant no. 1: Zhang Jiehuang

Contestant no. 2: Guan Li

Contestant no. 3: Kang Kee Yong
After the most muscular bachelor contest, we went to wait for the bus.

It was supposed to be some exhibition on Sars, but we ended up creating havoc in the bus, taking photos. And we neglected all the useful information.

Lixiang tried operating Jiehuang on a KITCHEN table. Hahaha! And Keong is just waiting for his dinner (Jiehuang) to be prepared.

Well, dinner escaped and joined Jingyi in the preparation of dinner.

This mirror is amazing! 1 person at each side of the mirror and both must adjust the lighting. And I managed to catch this moment. (: Guanli wearing Keong's shirt! Hahaha. It's actually due to the lighting. They didn't actually change into each other's clothings.

I actually saw compression and rarefaction in longitudinal waves! I've always wondered how scientists actually see these compressions and rarefactions.
Then, Jiehuang took the challenge and sat on the SHOCKER. It's an electrical chair and it really shocks you. We set it to the highest voltage. Yes, the thing hasn't started.

But his happiness was short-lived. We put in the $1 coin and the voltage increased.

And he's really brave. He sat through the whole thing.

Jingyi gave it a shot too, but she removed her hands when the handle vibrated. So, she didn't actually feel the shock. Oh, but she's braver than I am. I daren't even touch that metal handle.

Then we had to leave cos Science Centre's closing.
And we buffet-ed at Sakura. Yes I know, it's fattening and I'm supposed to be cutting down on my intake of food. But since it's once in a while, why not? (:

On Friday, we went to Sentosa. And this is a super last minute outing, decided only when we were buffet-ing the day before. The same people came, plus DeWei.
Siloso Beach is close cos of Zouk Out, so we went to Palawan Beach instead. I know I may sound like a country pumpkin, but I've never suntanned in public other then at the swimming pool at my place.
And since it's all our first time, we took lots of pictures.

Yes, you're not seeing it wrongly. The guys were trying to throw Lixiang into the sea cos she's the only one who's not wet.

After playing for the whole day, we ate the kway teow and chicken wings Jingyi brought.

And we played Bridge.

And Twister. It's fun playing Twister on the beach. We concluded that the winner does not have to just be able to bend. He/She has to have the hardest butt and firmest grip on the mat.

It's all tiring but FUN!
