18 Dec
We went to the zoo! I borrowed the Singapore Zoo pass and LX borrowed the Singapore Visitor pass. So it's like mine's totally redundant.
We went to look at all the animals. All within a day. (:
Viewed the white tigers first, cos of the recent accident. And yes, the male one looks as though it's ready to pounce on someone anytime.

Then it was the hippo. But we were more fascinated by the turtles. They are like doing some foreplay before having sex. And LX interrupted them by taking so many photos.

My favorite red-butt baboons.
They can be really violent. And I love seeing them groom, by picking on the bugs on one another's fur.

I know I know, I'm a strong girl! Hahaha.

So, to fully maximise LX's Visitor pass, we went to Cityhall.
We had dinner at Popeye's and the queue was uber long and slow.
We were just trying to pass time with the camera. So we tried imitating JH's shocked face.

And, WE WENT TO THE SINGAPORE FLYER FOR FREE! All thanks to LX's Visitor pass. I'm quite impressed by it. They made it seem like we're boarding a plane at Changi Airport.
First, we got the tickets and our departure time was 9.30pm.
Then we had to show our ticket to enter the "airport". No food, no drinks. And our bags have to be scanned.
Totally like Changi Airport. There's normal boarding and express boarding. And we had to walk through this tunnel like thing, similar to the one we have to walk through to board a flight from the airport.
And we saw this couple making out before their carriage even left the sight of the people queueing.

The scenery from the top of the flyer's really nice. 30mins in the carriage is totally worth it!

Met up with OG11 today. It's an early Christmas celebration outing but only 6 of us turned up. Dicky brought us to Shaw Tower for pasta.
The pricing's quite reasonable.
I had a bowl of soup of the day,

a cup of ice lemon tea,

my yummi-licious seafood alfredo creamy cooked with prawns, scallops, mussels and squid,

and a brownie with ice cream for just $15.20! The best thing is there's NO GST and NO SERVICE CHARGE.

And we had our Christmas gift exchange.

Went to chill at food junction. Yeah, weird place to chill but we just needed a place to sit down and chat. As usual, Joshua did all the talking and we just listened and laughed.
And this tomato face thinks he looks better than Guanli, so he tried imitating Guanli's signature face.

You all have to agree with me. Guanli looks way better than Jieyang. (:
