Ma Vie En Rose
My life in pink is a French movie that has won the Golden Globe Award for Best Foreign Language Film, as well as Crystal Award.

This movie tells the story of Ludovic, a 7 year old boy, who consistently insists that he is supposed to be a girl. He believes he ought to have been born a girl and wants to wear earrings, skirts, and wants to become a female when he's older. The rest of the family tries to humour him, rationalizing that he is only trying to find his identity and will be over it soon.

When he and his family moved into their dream house with wonderful neighbours, everything seemed perfect.

However, trouble began when Ludovic befriended Jerome, one of the neighbourhood children and expresses his desire to marry Jerome when he's no longer a boy. Soon, the parents of the students in the school signed a petition to kick Ludovic out of school, leading to a family fight. Unable to handle the situation, Ludovic hid in a freezer to commit suicide. This resulted in his family allowing him to wear a skirt to one of the neighbourhood children's birthday party. The neighbours greeted Ludovic and his family warmly, but his dad lost his job the following day.

The story ended with Ludovic's father finding a new job out of town, where the entire family have to move to. In this new neighbourhood, Ludovic found a friend Christine, who calls herself Chris. Like Ludovic, she wants to be a boy and believes she should be born a male.

I'm not the type who watch all sorts of movies. My movie choices are extremely limited - romance comedy, and comedies. I don't like action, I don't like horror. Ma Vie En Rose isn't a comedy of any sort, so when I say it's good, you should go watch it!
It's a really good movie to catch.
