Oh seriously, why do girls let their boyfriends carry their handbag for them?

It's nice of the guy to help the girl with her heavy handbag. It's sweet of him not giving a single thought about his self image for the sake of the girl. But it just looks so wrong.
I mean, girls, if you do not need anything from your handbag, why bother bringing it out in the first place?
