I think I look pretty good bald. Except that I'm not used to having something covering my scalp. It's not something you can get used to quickly. When your hair grows, it grows so slowly that you don't realise it's getting longer. When it's cut/shaved, suddenly your hair feels so much shorter.

I'm not used to having the sun shining on my scalp directly. It stings and makes my scalp super sweaty and oily. It's disgusting actually. Makes me want to wash my hair all the time. And it itches all the time.

I like my shampoo to create foam whenever I wash my hair. But now that my hair's so short, foam is barely there. It makes me feel as though I've not washed my hair enough. I wash them twice sometimes, until I see foam. And it's like a crater lake up there. Acne everywhere! Except that it's not on my face. I disgust myself sometimes. I can't wait for my hair to grow out so I can wash my hair properly.

During oweek, one of the male freshies was applying sunblock to his ears. Only the ears. I told him "Eh, waste sunblock la you. Where got people put sunblock on ears one." I never knew our ears can get sunburnt too. Yeah, laugh it off. I know it's dumb. Apparently, my hair has been shielding my ears from all that sun. So much so that I've not had any sunburn on my ears. And now, because I have no hair, my ears are burnt! It's really painful. I can't even bend it properly. It feels like potato chips. Hard and crispy.
