It's hilarious how people react to my hair or the lack of it. Some try to stare discreetly while others blatantly stare right into my face. For the whole week after I shaved bald, nobody dared to sit with me on the bus, no matter how crowded the bus is. People stare at me wherever I go. At first, I wasn't bothered by it. But now, I'm annoyed. SO RUDE.

A lady was giving out pamphlets. She looked at the pile of pamphlets on her hand while stretching out to pass me one. When she looked up, she stared at me and withdrew her hand. She took her pamphlet back. Freak.

While I was waiting for Kel at Bugis last week, a couple just stared at me, exchange some whispers, and continued to stare at me. Like I'm some walking disease. Then a 40 plus years old lady walked right in front of me, look at my face, stare at my head, and walked away.

And a little boy shouted "Mummy, BOTAK!!!" when i boarded the bus last week.

Now wonder how the kids feel when they're walking along the streets. People still stare, but lesser now. Because my hair's growing out!
