Met up with the girls over brunch to catch up with one another.
We gave Hatched @ Evans Road a try, since all of us were dying to try eggs benedict.
They've changed their menu layout. ):
I really loved the cutesy menu layout of theirs previously.
Their signature miniature figures are still on the menu but less with less colours.
It's better to make a reservation even though the place isn't overly crowded.
We called in half an hour before we arrived because we were expecting a crowd. None of us had ever eaten at Hatched so we weren't sure if a reservation is required, but we were glad we did!
We were given a seat in the cafe itself, which was much cooler than the open area outside.

Designer Egg Omelette
Hanwei and I chose this because we were on a vegetarian diet.
We chose caramelized onions, sauteed mushrooms and cheese for the fillings, and it was good!
We thought this was better than their eggs benedicts.
El Chorizo
I tried the grilled tomato and I love it!
I don't exactly like tomato but the basil makes the tomato really tasty.
Salmon Royale
Didn't get to try this because of my diet. ):
Popeye's Salute
I like the hollandaise sauce on the poached eggs and the muffins were really fluffy, but as compared to the designer's omelette, I prefer the latter.
Scramble eggs are always more moist than muffins.
Sauteed mushrooms
Which I thought was a bed of rocks.
Every bite comes with a crunch. I think the whole bowl of mushrooms came with sand/soil.
The girls and I (:
Plus a smiley Hanwei.
